The ISHS/ProMusa alliance organizes a number of symposia, meetings and workshops:

Global meetings to encourage exchange of ideas and collaboration between scientists and across disciplines

Specialist workshops to stimulate R&D activity and to develop targeted project proposals for supplemental funding

Specialist training workshops to pass on the skills and knowledge to practitioners in the regions
-
Smaller project meetings organized on an ad hoc basis depending on projects’ needs

The International Horticultural Congress (IHC) in Lisbon will be the venue for a symposium on production and marketing issues for bananas and other tropical fruits grown in subtropical regions.
