Composition and selection

The organizing committee will be co-chaired by a representative of the local host and the ProMusa coordinator, and will include the regional representative (of the region where the symposium is held) of the ProMusa steering committee and the ProMusa secretariat.


The organizing committee will be responsible for all practical matters related to the organization of the symposium, including selection of the venue, set-up of symposium website, symposium announcements, registrations, abstract and full paper submission/review workflow, program and abstracts booklet, arrangements for accommodation and travel, travel grants administration, financial administration, organization of field trip and social program, etc.

The ProMusa secretariat will assist the organizing committee in the set-up and content management of a symposium website, the design and distribution of announcements, venue selection, the set-up of an online registration and abstract submission system, pre/post-symposium communication with participants, on-site assistance to participants and on-site symposium secretariat.
