Listing of available sources of travel funding for scientists

SEARCA travel grants

The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) offers Travel Grants of up to a maximum of US$1,200 to agriculture and agriculture-related professionals and social scientist, or graduate students in Southeast Asia.
Application deadlines: 7 December, 7 March, 7 June and 7 September for travel in the first, second, third and fourth quarter of the year respectively.

Hayek Fund for Scholars

The Hayek Fund for Scholars covers an extensive array of both research and teaching related expenses such as, presentations at conferences, travel to academic job interviews or for research at archives or libraries, participation in seminars, distribution of an article, submission of manuscripts to journals or publishers. It is open to students and faculty interested in advancing the ideas of liberty within the social sciences and humanities disciplines.
Application deadline: Four weeks prior to the start of the applicant's activity
