Liège University is recruiting a postdoctoral candidate to be part of an international team focusing on the evaluation of the impact of microbial communities on crop productivity and drought tolerance of banana cultivars. The candidate must hold a PhD in biological sciences and have a strong background in in microbiology, plant pathology and/or molecular biology. Good communication skills are important as well as the ability to supervise Masters or PhD students.
Duty station: Liège University, Gembloux, Belgium
Start date: November 2018
Duration: 1 year, renewable for at least 1 year
