ICGEB’s Collaborative Research Programme offers grants of up to 25,000€ annually, for a maximum of 3 years, to contribute to the implementation of outstanding scientific projects in basic and applied life sciences, including agricultural biotechnology. Funds can only be used to cover expenditures that are directly relevant to the project. The programme is open to applicants holding a position at a university or research institute in any of the ICGEB member states.
A special category of Early Career Return Grants is intended to fund outstanding young researchers (no more than 40 years of age) who have spent a minimum of 2 years abroad and have recently returned to an ICGEB Member State to establish their own laboratory. The application form is the same as that for the ICGEB research grants. Applicants are however requested to indicate on Form B, part 1 of the form that they are applying for this type of grant.
Application deadline: 30 April 2020
