BGCI Report: Plants and climate change: which future?
Botanic Gardens Conservation International has launched a report on plants and climate change. The desk-based study includes input from international experts and presents a synthesised overview of the present state of knowledge about the complex relationships that exist between plants, climate and human livelihoods. The report includes a series of recommendations and actions that are required to prevent wide-scale loss of plant diversity under future climate change scenarios and will form the basis of an information service, which will be used to guide future policy and plant conservation actions.
