Musa Germplasm Information System (MGIS)
The Musa Germplasm Information System (MGIS) is a database of phenotypic and genomic information on accessions of bananas (both wild and cultivated) conserved in field and in vitro genebanks.
The database also provides access to the ITC accessions, many of which are available for distribution as in vitro plantlets or lyophilized leaves1 . The database is managed by Bioversity International from its Montpellier, France, office.
